Riley Ferro (Hunter Parrish) | Werewolf | Ferro Pack | 18 | Open ✘
Do you guys have a body count? Cause the Ferros sure do.
Intelligent, honest, daring, and loyal, Riley Ferro is everything a future alpha should be. Riley had known from a young age that his father, Jacob Ferro, was the alpha of a pack consisting mostly of family members and close friends, all of whom carried the werewolf gene, and that his family was descended from an extremely powerful line of werewolves. His father had always made sure that Riley understood just what being a werewolf entailed, what he would lose if he were to trigger the curse. Because of this, Riley was certain that he never wanted to trigger the curse and took great care not to do anything reckless or dangerous. That’s not to say that he was oblivious to the war raging on between his father’s pack and Aleksander Morganson. In fact, he had heard of the countless murders done in the name of peace, by the Morganson enforcers. Because of this, Riley never really had a childhood, maturing at a young age, becoming someone his parents could rely on, responsible and attentive to the needs of others. When Riley was fifteen, he met and instantly fell for Eliza Fitzpatrick, a relationship that would last for four years. It took one reckless action, one stupid argument, for everything to fall apart. One minute, Riley was drinking at a local bar close to his house, and the next, he was leaning over a body, his hands covered in blood. It was an accident, it wasn’t his fault, he never meant to hurt anyone, it was self-defense, those were his thoughts as he ran from the bar, running towards anywhere but home.
It took him four weeks. Four weeks away from Eliza, from his father, from the truth of what he had done, trying to escape the reality of his situation. It didn’t take long for his father to realize what had happened, and it wasn’t long after that Riley had to undergo his first transformation. He broke up with Eliza the day of their graduation party. Unable to tell her that he was doing it for her, looking out for what was best for her. He walked away, his heart breaking as she called out after him, wishing he could tell her everything. Wishing that he was someone deserving of her, instead of a monster. He got the call a few hours later, could barely make out what Eliza’s father was saying through the man’s tears. For a moment, he had allowed himself to hope that maybe, just maybe, now that she was like him, they could be together, but Eliza soon made it clear that she had no intention on getting back with him. Now, Riley is attending NYU alongside Eliza, all the while trying to adjust to the fact that in time, he would become the alpha and that he is now a prime target for the Morganson coven. All he really wants is for things to go back to the way things used to be, when he had Riley and everything was much simpler.
✔ Is determined to make Eliza understand why he ended their relationship. All he wants is for her to realize that he did it to keep her safe, afraid of the danger he was putting her in.
✔ Dislikes Kol Mikaelson upon meeting him, thinking him to be just another arrogant vampire. He can’t help but feel threatened by the vampires at NYU, knowing he could not overpower them in his human form.
✔ Is friends with Callum Black and Jules Montgomery, but distrusts Charitybecause of her connection to the Morganson coven.
✘ Nolan Davis (Chris Zylka) | Witch | 19 | Open ✘
You murdered my father. You and I have unfinished business.
Nolan was born in a small town in Virginia to Julian and Gale Davis, two very powerful witches who once worked for Klaus Mikaelson. After having deceived Klaus, knowingly giving him false information to help prevent the death of a friend of his, Julian was forced to run, and with the help of Elijah Mikaelson, he managed to escape Klaus’s persecution, taking a pregnant Gale with him. Despite their best efforts, Klaus soon discovered where they were, promising a reward to whoever brought Julian to him. Julian was forced to flee and leave Gale behind who later gave birth to Nolan. Months passed before Gale received a package from Klaus; inside was a human heart and a note, I don’t take betrayal lightly, love. Growing up, Nolan was always very much aware of his mothers hatred for Niklaus, although she never really spoke of what had transpired between them. All he really knew was that Klaus had somehow caused the death of his father. Nolan showed an exceptional talent and potential in his magical abilities from a young age, a fact that didn’t surprise his mother who was descended from a long line of powerful witches. Brave, honorable, compassionate and wise, Nolan resembled his father in many ways, having inherited Julian’s heroic tendencies, more often than not using magic in order to help others instead of himself. As a young boy, Julian would always ask his mother about his father but his mother would never divulge anything, the mere mention of Nolan’s father causing her to close up. When Nolan was eighteen, his mother finally confessed what had truly happened, how his father had tried to help his friend, how Klaus had hunted him down, killing Julian for betraying him.
Anger fueling his actions, Nolan decided to confront Klaus, driving down to Mystic Falls only to learn that he had left Virginia for New York a few days prior. Despite his mothers protests, Nolan chose to follow Klaus to NY, transferring from U of V to NYU. His plan was simple, he would befriend Klaus, make Klaus think of Nolan as an ally, and then kill him. Easier said then done, really. Nolan had no idea where to start, all he knew was that he would kill the hybrid or die trying. He figures he can start by getting close to Klaus’s siblings, manipulating his way into Klaus’s inner circle. With revenge on his mind, Nolan has no time to play nice and make friends, but he does reason that things would be easier if he had some sort of help along the way. With that in mind, he starts to befriend Jules Montgomery, hoping that with the help of another powerful witch he would soon find a way to destroy Klaus. Thing is, things are getting a bit more complicated now that Gemma Blake has taken an interest in him. She could be his ticket in or his downfall.
✔ Is determined to destroy Klaus, will do anything in his power to stop Klaus from achieving his goals. Willing to help the Morganson’s in their fight against Klaus an his army.
✔ Is attracted to Gemma Blake but doesn’t want to get involved with her, knowing that she is loyal to Klaus and that she might pose a threat to his plans.
✔ Becomes close friends with Jules Montgomery, recognizing her strength and talent for magic. He later grows close to Charity Harrington as well as Riley Ferro and Callum Black.
✘ Callum Black (Liam Hemsworth) | Werewolf | Ferro Pack | 19 | Open ✘
I won’t kill you. That’d be too easy. You deserve to live with this. You deserve to drown in your mistakes.
Callum was raised in New Jersey by his mother, Abigail Black. The stress of providing for a family was too much for his father, who left when Callum was very young. Callum took on most of what should have been his father’s responsibilities, and as a result he was always very mature for his age. Although he lived with his mother, he would often visit his great-grandfather, Mercer Black, who would spend most of their time together talking about werewolves, and like any teenager, Callum believed they were myths. Mercer would tell him of how the Black family was descended from a long line of werewolves that could be traced back centuries, how Mercer’s brother had been a werewolf and how Callum’s grandfather had been one as well. Callum would go along with it, listening to his great-grandfather’s tales, believing them to be odd ramblings from an old man.
Despite the fact that his mother couldn’t afford to put him through college, Callum worked hard throughout high school, graduating at the top of his class, and received a scholarship for athletics, having been the MVP for his high school’s football team since he joined his sophomore year, to NYU. During his freshman year at NYU, Callum was invited along on a school trip to Mexico, sponsored by the athletics department, a trip that ended in a nightmare after he got involved in an argument which resulted in the accidental death of another student. Returning from Mexico, Callum started to notice certain changes in his mood and behavior, his temper becoming harder to control and his prowess on the field increasing exponentially. During one of his visits, Mercer was able to recognize the signs and asked Callum if anything had happened during his trip. Callum reluctantly told him about what the accident. Now, Callum is back at NYU as a returning sophomore, trying to live a normal life, and with the help of his great-grandfather, he’s managed to finally come to terms with the fact that he is now a werewolf. Moving into Mercer’s apartment in Brooklyn, he has joined the Ferro pack, becoming friends with Riley Ferro and Eliza Fitzpatrick. Things are finally starting to settle down, but with Callum’s newfound interest in Gemma Blake, things are bound to get messy.
✔ A sophomore at NYU, Callum is known for his prowess on the football field, making him popular amongst his fellow students. He’s also incredibly intelligent, managing to maintain a near perfect average while juggling all of his responsibilities.
✔ He’s close friends with Eliza Fitzpatrick and Riley Ferro, and is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure their safety, as well as the packs. He quickly grows fond of Nathan Grayson.
✔ Develops a crush on Gemma Blake, a girl he considers to be completely out of his league, but that doesn’t stop him from trying.
✘ Elijah Mikaelson (Daniel Gillies | Vampire | 1000+ | Eternally 25 | Open ✘
My talk of virtue. When it suits my needs, I kill, maim, and torment. Even today, I terrorized an innocent. I used your hatred of her to get what I wanted. Wielded you like I would a sword. My sister.
Cold, calculating, honest and loyal, Elijah, the eldest of the Original siblings, couldn’t be more different than Niklaus. Where his younger brother is ruled by his emotions, Elijah is often perceived as cold and detached. Elijah is a man who lives by a code of honor and morality that has been with him since he was a human. When he was turned into a vampire, his beliefs were magnified and they developed in him a man who strongly believed in honor and loyalty. Whenever he would give his word to someone, he would keep it. This earned him the trust of Elena and many others. However, his turning into a vampire also brought out darker sides to his personality. Namely, he was now willing to kill whenever it suited his needs and showed little remorse about it. Ultimately, he will always do whatever he needs to do to accomplish his needs.
Everything that Elijah has done, he has done to preserve and protect the one thing he values most, his family. When he was human, Elijah was very close to his siblings, his brother Niklaus and his sister Rebekah in particular. To this end, he helped Niklaus break the curse that prevented him from releasing his werewolf side. Also, despite the fact that he tried to kill Niklaus, he still cares deeply about his younger brother and would do anything to prevent him from dying. Elijah’s only weakness, other than his family, appears to be his fondness for the Petrova doppelgangers, in particularly Elena, who he considers to be pure and innocent, unlike her predecessor, Katherine, whom he also fell for. Despite this, Elijah wouldn’t hesitate to end them if they ever posed a problem. Persuaded by Rebekah, Elijah followed his siblings to New York, all the while aware of Klaus’s intentions. Elijah resolves not to take part in Klaus’s war against the Morganson’s, his respect for his prodigy, Aleksander, making him reluctant to go up against the Morganson clan. He would sooner stay out of the conflict than to wage war against a clan of vampires who outnumber Klaus’s own army.
✔ Remains loyal to his family, regardless of what has transpired between them, he will always look out for his own. However, his trust in Klaus has been completely destroyed. He is protective of his younger siblings, in particular Rebekah.
✔ Refuses to take part in the upcoming war between his brother and the Morganson clan, believing it futile and dangerous, having knowledge ofAleksander’s abilities. He has a deep respect for what his prodigy has managed to build for himself, and is unwilling to do anything that would threaten Aleksander’s hold on the coven.
✔ Despite everything, Elijah still cares for Katherine, though he would never admit it, his disappointment in who she’s become making him cautious.
✘ Henrik Morganson (Jared Padalecki) | Vampire | 900+ | Eternally 22 | Open ✘
You don’t have to be a monster…it doesn’t matter what you are. It only matters what you do. It’s your choice.
The black sheep of his family, Henrik couldn’t be more different than his older brother when it came to their personalities. Where Aleksander was cold and calculating, Henrik was temperamental and reckless, often clashing with their father due to Henrik’s careless nature. Although his mother and father both wished he would decide to follow after Aleksander’s footsteps, Henrik was more interested in enjoying the pleasures of life, quickly forgetting his responsibilities and his duty to his family. Despite their different temperaments, Henrik was always close to his older brother, believing him to be a hero, a great warrior. Henrik was so sure of his brother’s prowess in battle that when news came of his death, Henrik wouldn’t believe it, insisting that his brother was still alive.
His hopes were soon rewarded when Aleksander returned home a few weeks after his supposed demise. What Henrik hadn’t counted on was that Aleksander was forever changed at the hands of a vampire named Elijah. Determined to remain by Alek’s side, Henrik asked his brother to turn him, a decision he has never once regretted. Like his brother, Henrik spent his first few centuries as a ripper, earning himself quite the reputation amongst the vampires in Europe. His killings, often noted to be torturous, inhumane and reckless. Henrik has remained by Aleksander’s side for most of his vampire life. At first Henrik has been strongly opposed to moving to New York, believing that by doing so, they would lose any sort of control they had amongst the European vampires, but Alek managed to convince him that their future was in the new world. Now, Henrik stands beside his brother as the right hand, his attitude and reputation still instilling fear wherever he goes. Although his skills in combat do not surpass Aleksander’s, Henrik is considered a ferocious fighter, one who stops at nothing to achieve his means. Fiercely loyal and protective, he will do whatever it takes to keep his older brother at the head of the coven, even if it means going head to head with the Original family and their pets.
✔ Holds a deep respect for his older brother, somewhat idolizing Aleksander Morganson. His brother is the only one Henrik truly listens to, taking his advice and chastising to heart.
✔ Unknowing to Selene Wright, Henrik has always had feelings for her, not that he would ever admit it in fear of rejection.
✔ Is close friends with Garrett Redwood, Amelia Proulx, and Selene. Believing them to be the only people he can truly trust. He starts to develop a close friendship with Damon Salvatore due to their similar personalities.
✘ Cooper Donahue (Garrett Hedlund) | Human/Hunter | 20 | Open ✘
This is getting kinkier and creepier by the moment.
Cooper’s childhood memories were anything but typical, most of them consisting of his parents teaching him, Cormac and Chase anything and everything they had to know in order to be successful hunters. Where other kids his age hid from monsters, Cooper and his family were off hunting them down. Cooper was a skilled fighter from and early age but preferred the investigating aspect of the hunting business, which worked out well since both his father and Chase were rather fond of the actual killing part. Unlike the rest of his family, Cooper always thought things through instead of acting on impulse, taking in every detail before choosing how to proceed with the situation. Where Chase and Jonah were ruled by their tempers, Cooper always remained calm, never letting his anger get the best of him. He had the ability to talk, lie or charm his way out of any sticky situation which is somewhat crucial in his line of work, and serves as an advantage in the instances where lives are in danger. When Cormac left for NYU, Cooper and Chase were forced to take on his responsibilities, both of them resenting Cormac for walking away from the family business. When news came of Cormac’s death, Cooper was the most affected, having been closest to him. Jonah soon left to find out what truly had happened to Cormac, leaving Cooper in charge of the inn as well as his younger sister. His father, having found at that Cormac had been murdered by vampires, went after them despite Cooper’s best efforts to make him wait for assistance.
Jonah’s death was the last straw. Cooper had lost both his brother and father to vampires, retribution was in order. The hunting business had not only taken his mother, but now, it had also claimed the lives of his brother and father, despite the fact the Cormac had left it behind. It took little convincing on Chase’s part before Cooper made the decision to move to New York, intent on finding out who was behind the deaths of his father and brother. In order to keep up appearances, Cooper got a job at a local bookstore while Chase transferred to NYU. It’s just a matter of time before everything falls into place, and when that time comes, Cooper is ready to do whatever he deems necessary in order to get revenge on those who have wronged him. Thing is, Cooper is starting to realize that hunting in New York is far more dangerous than what he imagined. For not only is he hunting on Aleksander Morganson’s territory, but he just might be after vampires who belong to the Morganson coven.
✔ Unlike Chase, Cooper doesn’t completely hate the supernatural. He does mistrust them, but he wouldn’t kill them if they give him no reason to. He and Chase often argue about her attitude towards hunting.
✔ Is a skilled fighter but prefers the research aspect of hunting while his sister takes on the more physical part of hunting. He is intelligent and manipulative, skilled at deception, capable of getting information out of others without their knowledge.
✔ Meets Selene Wright and finds himself instantly attracted to her. He tries to shake it off when he finds out she’s a vampire but can’t seem to forget about her.
✘ Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) | Hybrid | 1000+ | Eternally 24 | Open ✘
I will build an army so big no one will ever touch me. My survival will haunt you for eternity. You will never destroy me.
Klaus is sadistic, careless, impulsive, volatile, and competitive, having little to no regard for human life in general, the polar opposite of his half brother, Elijah, who lives by a moral compass. While a human, Klaus had a complicated life, he was close with his siblings, particularly Rebekah and Elijah, however, he had a strained relationship with his parents. Unbeknownst to any, Klaus was not the son of Mikael but of a werewolf in another village which made Klaus both aggressive and angry. When they became vampires, all these emotions were heightened and Klaus’s temper became worse than ever. Years of humiliation at Mikael’s hands and Esther’s supposed indifference, coupled with her rejection of him as her son, led Klaus to kill his own mother in revenge. After this, Klaus shut off his humanity to any but his family, killing any who crossed his path. He showed no remorse about sacrificing Jenna, Jules and Elena in order to break his curse, instead, he treated it as a game. Vengeful and power-hungry, he will stop at nothing to achieve his ends and remove those who stand in his way, gaining many enemies throughout the centuries.
Klaus’s hunger for power hides a deep fear of being alone which must stem from Mikael’s treatment of him. He wants the hybrids so that he will not be the sole member of his race as Esther intended when she placed the curse on him. Although Esther had managed to make him believe that the only way to create other hybrids was to sacrifice a Petrova doppelganger, Klaus later saw through her lie and used Elena’s blood to create his army of hybrids. He also desires, beyond anything else, to be reunited with family and friends as shown by his desire to have Stefan, his one-time friend, and his family back at his side. His fondness for Stefan soon diminished after Stefan’s various attempts on his life, although he still cares about his friend. Now that Elena is a vampire, Klaus is left with little choice but to find another way to create his hybrids. His only option is to track down a powerful circle of witches, or create his own, and what better place to do it than New York? Not only is Klaus searching for a way to expand his hybrid army, he’s also looking to take over the Morganson coven, aware of the power and influence they have in the vampire community. He finds a powerful adversary in Aleksander, the current leader of the New York coven, but Klaus will stop at nothing to get what he wants. To his pleasant surprise, Caroline Forbes has made her way to New York, along with a newborn Elena and Stefan, and despite her relationship with Tyler, Klaus sees no reason not to pursue the girl. Not that Klaus has much time for romance, what with the brewing war between his army and the Morganson’s.
✔ He truly loves his family, despite neutralizing all of them at one point or another, Klaus only cares for his own. He fears the thought of losing them and hopes to make amends, to gain their trust once more. His family is Klaus’s only weakness.
✔ He is infatuated with Caroline and despite the fact that she is loyal to Tyler, Elena and her friends, he wishes to make her see him as something other than the monster she believes him to be.
✔ Klaus seeks power, that is why he is willing to go head to head with Aleksander, hoping that if he were to break him, the others would swear allegiance to him. Not only that, but Klaus is also in search of powerful witches, determined to find a solution to his hybrid problem.
✘ Landon Reese (Penn Badgley) | Human | 19 | Open ✘
A little advice, leave the whole comedic relief thing to me. You suck at it.
Landon Reese was born to Anthony and Helen Reese and grew up in the small Iowa town of Lakehurst. Landon’s father was a self-pitying drunk while his mother was a fragile mess, unable to stand up for herself, serving as Anthony’s personal punching bag. Because of this, both of his parents were negligent and even abusive towards their son, leaving him with various insecurities that would haunt him for most of his childhood. Landon soon learned how to fend for himself, taking on more responsibilities than a boy his age was fit to handle, his parents more of a burden than help. Grounded, intelligent, talented and determined, Landon vowed to never become his father despite his upbringing. Upon entering high school, Landon soon made a name for himself amongst his classmates, joining the football team as the back-up quarterback before becoming the star quarterback his senior year, winning the state championship game in his last season. Not only was Landon a star athlete, but he also worked, saving up whatever he could for his college fund, and maintained the GPA of a valedictorian, his heart set on getting out of Lakehurst.
Upon graduation from high school, Landon was accepted to NYU, his first choice, on a full scholarship, having impressed the admissions board with his athletic prowess and academic achievements. Despite his love for the game, Landon decided against playing on NYU’s football team, instead joining their swim team as well as a number of other organizations. His first year at NYU went past in a blur, his classes and activities consuming up whatever free time he had. This year, Landon is determined to actually enjoy the college expierence, go wild for once, become a little less responsible, actually act his age. Upon meeting Chase Donahue, Landon is certain that things are bound to get more interesting. Chase offers a challenge, one that Landon isn’t about to refuse. There’s just something about her, something different and dangerous, and Landon’s always loved a good mystery. He just never expected her to be such a danger magnet.
✔ Landon is completely unaware of the supernatural. He has no idea he’s surrounded by vampires and werewolves, he definitely doesn’t know that the girl he’s crushing on is a hunter.
✔ Is interested in Chase Donahue despite her somewhat brazen personality. He finds her alluring, interesting, something different that what he’s used to.
✔ Is friends with Callum Black, later befriending Jules Montgomery, Riley Ferro and Eliza Fitzpatrick.
✘ Kol Mikaelson (Nathaniel Buzolic) | Vampire | 1000+ | Eternally 19 | Open ✘
Relax darling. I just want us to be even. You snapped my neck, you killed my brother, and then you humiliated me.
Having been locked in a coffin for over a century, Kol is perhaps the least infamous of his siblings in present days. But long before his half-brother had put a dagger through his heart, the younger original had been notorious for his relentless, unpredictable, and sadistic nature. Unlike Klaus, who kills and tortures for a sense of empowerment, or Elijah, who kills to serve a certain purpose, Kol is fond of maiming and murdering simply for the fun of it. He is far less complicated than the rest of his family- he just likes to have a good time, constantly seeking entertainment, and not necessarily in the form of violence, but still more often than not coming at the expense of others. After over a thousand years of being a vampire, it’s not much of a surprise that he has grown to have zero regards to human life, but his self-absorbed nature goes deeper than that. Truth is that even back in the day, when he was still very much human, Kol cared for little but himself, his conscience being pretty much nonexistent.
Though he still holds a slight grudge against Klaus for daggering him, Kol agreed on join his siblings in New York, giving in to Rebekah’s pleas for them to stick together; like his siblings, Kol has a strong sense of family. Though he may not always seem it, he is fiercely loyal to them, having indeed been born in a time when traits such as loyalty, trust and respect were valued far more than they are now. In fact, his brothers and sister may very well be the only thing he truly cares about. Nevertheless, he possesses a tendency to push as many buttons as he can until he gets a reaction from his brothers or sister, taunting them being one of his favorite past times. Though he doesn’t care about the power struggle between Klaus and the Morgansons at all, he would gladly cause some trouble and damage on his brother’s behest if he needed him to do so, but would rather focus his energy on reestablishing his violent and volatile reputation among the vampire society, enjoying the negative attention.
✔ Volatile and destructive, Kol finds entertainment in others misery. He will do whatever it takes to get what he wants, showing no remorse for his actions.
✔ He finds the power struggle between Klaus and Aleksander amusing. Although he doesn’t necessarily partake in Klaus’s plans, he is willing to stand by his family against the Morganson coven, remaining loyal to Klaus despite having been betrayed in the past.
✔ Because of his personality and power, he makes a few enemies upon his arrival in NYC, including Riley Ferro and Nolan Davis, and comes face to face with a couple of old enemies, such as the Salvatore brothers and Katherine Pierce.
✘ Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) | Vampire | 163 | Eternally 17 | Open ✘
The more blood I get, the more I want. And if I get near yours, I won’t be able to stop… you’ll be dead.
The night of Elena’s transition, Elena had finally chosen him, and for those few minutes, Stefan had been truly happy, until everything fell apart. Stefan had always been well aware of the fact that Elena had no desire to turn and respected her decision, but despite that, he has always remained hopeful that she would choose to become a vampire in order for them to remain together. Deep down, he had always known she would turn in the end, if not for his sake, for Damon’s, he just had never realized that Elena wouldn’t have a choice in the matter. After her transition, Stefan remained by her side, and along with Damon, did everything he could to help Elena adjust to her new life. He knew about Damon’s love for Elena as well as her feelings for Damon, and yet, his love for Elena made him unable to truly let her go, instead he did everything in his power to make their relationship stronger.
Stefan was relieved when Damon decided to leave Mystic, hoping that now that his brother was out of the picture, Elena and him would be able to mend their relationship. And for a time, it seemed to be working, things were better, and he had honestly started to believe that her love for Damon was slowly diminishing, or at least that’s what he told himself. He knew that Elena loved him, but he was starting to doubt if she loved him with the same intensity he loved her. Soon after Elena’s graduation, she announced of her intention to go to college, specifically NYU. Despite his misgivings, Stefan reluctantly agreed, compelling himself a spot at NYU. A few weeks after their arrival, Stefan was shocked to learn of Klaus’s move to New York, wary of the hybrids intentions. He tried to convince Elena to leave New York, but she refused to run, claiming that now that she was a vampire, Klaus had no reason to come after her. Stefan soon realizes that Klaus isn’t their biggest threat, that New York happens to be the home of a group of vampires far more skilled and dangerous than he is.
✔Is in love with Elena but is starting to doubt her feelings for him. He knows that Elena feels something for Damon but chooses to ignore it, hoping that her love for him is enough.
✔ Wants to stay away from Klaus and the other Originals, wishing to stay out of whatever conflict might arise between Klaus and Aleksander Morganson.
✔ Is close friends with Caroline, Katherine and Damon. Due to their similar personalities, Stefan soon becomes close friends with Garrett Redwood and Aleksander Morganson.
